See you, Thailand!
Sawasdee and goodbye, colourful country! I'm heading back to Guangzhou. Thailand, one of the most touristy places in Asia that I have seen, is very experienced, when it comes to make you feel happy - and this is not necessarily linked to a happy end. There are plenty of dimensions in which you can experience this country, and this paths are mostly well paved, which allows for some upside but inherently for the main downside - you are sharing your experience with a lot of folk.
But, this aside, you can find many things which make Thailand a wonderful place. First, the people: you might say, okay, everyone who has a stake in the tourist business has a natural interest in representing happiness in itself, but you will find friendly people everywhere. In the gas station, the guy who cleans the trash bins on the streets, the lady in front of the phone shop. It's an attitude I really admire - these people don't own a yacht, a condominium, maybe they are just glad of having running water, but they enjoy their life instead of wasting their time by complaining about not having five sorts of cheese during their buffet breakfast (I won't refer to someone in person, but just visit this event on Khao Lak once and you know what I mean).
Second, Thai Curry. This is something you can't put down in words, either you try it or you will die without experiencing one of the best things that had ever happened to your tongue.
Third, the nature and the remote jungles and beaches. Although there are many places crowded by retired couples or single men or other tourists (the first group refrains from getting mingled with the latter one), which results in shared experienced you will hardly forget (and even more regret), there are places which still offer the opportunity of being on your own and getting an impression of an untouched country with all its beauty and prospering fauna and flora.
Furthermore, don't miss a Thai Massage, a ride on an elephant and the bustling moloch of Bangkok. Finally, don't forget, to get an idea of what a shemale is - kind of interesting experience of you don't know...
