It's hot, there is no electricity during the day and even the water supply does not work properly. However, El Nido offers the most amazing beaches I've ever seen. Diving through caves filled with swarms of fishes they are sometimes hidden behind high cliffs. Picturesque as they are they are rarely crowded by tourists, garbage or annoying hat salesmen.
